User Experience Manager, Alltech

“The one-on-one support from the UX Design Institute was really important - I was always able to email the team with questions. The student Slack channel was always active and everybody was very supportive. That kind of consistent help and guidance is not something you get with other providers.”

What are the admissions criteria?

There are no strict admissions criteria. This course gives students a basic understanding of how software gets made so you don’t need experience in tech or design to enrol. Unsure if it’s the right level for you? Our education advisors can help.

How is the course structured?

Each of the five modules is delivered entirely online so you can complete the course at your own pace. Once enrolled, you’ll have access to all of the course materials for three months.

How will I be assessed?

There will be a 40 minute online exam after you complete the five modules. This will make up your grade for the course. There will also be exercises after each module to help you get practical experience. These will not be graded.

Will I work on a team?

Yes, if you want to. Each course is limited to a maximum of 75 people. This allows you to build relationships with your fellow students on a dedicated Slack channel, and collaborate on projects and study time.
