Q: What does a UI designer do?

UI designers create the visual layout and interactive elements of digital products, including screens, components and interface behaviours.

Q: What are the admissions criteria?

Students are admitted on a case-by-case basis following a consultation with one of our Education Advisors. No prior design or technology experience is required, but students should be motivated, able to commit time to the course and comfortable learning in English.

Q: How is the course structured?

There are two learning paths. You can follow a structured three-month schedule with monthly deadlines and weekly mentor-led webinars, or complete the course at your own pace. All course materials are available for six months, and webinars can be attended live or on demand.

Q: Will I build a portfolio?

Yes. You will complete practical assignments that showcase your UI design skills. This work can be included in your portfolio to demonstrate your abilities to potential employers.

Q: Is the course recognised?

Yes. The course is credit-rated by Glasgow Caledonian University, a highly regarded UK university. It carries 12 credits at Level 7 on the Scottish Credit and Qualifications Framework, with equivalent recognition in other international education systems.
