Tell us a bit about your career before you studied UX with us.
“Before attending the course, I had been working for around 10 years as a senior web and UI designer catering for hotels and the hospitality industry. My background prior to that was in visual communications and graphic/brand design.”
Why did you want to learn more about UX?
“Even within a relatively small organisation, we were finding it difficult to create a culture where direct interaction and observation of user behaviour formed an integral part of our product design flow. We realised the value and potential of these insights but needed alignment on how best to go about harnessing them.”
Why did you choose to study UX with us?
“The course content and structure covered the entire spectrum of UX techniques, from testing your hypothesis to lo-high prototyping to interview techniques with real users.”
Since completing the course, how has your career progressed?
“I have since changed position into my current role as a UX Lead within Analog Devices - a large US multinational working across such diverse areas such as smart health, agriculture, industrial monitoring and a lot more. As well as working on product design, I am working alongside various teams with a view to implementing a Human Centred Design ethos across the organisation.”
Would you recommend the course to others? Why?
“Simply put - you will learn a lot of practical techniques in a very short space of time that you can apply within your business immediately. The tutors are extremely experienced and the course content is easy to digest.”
In one word, how would you describe your experience on the course?
